ELIVAAS Enters Munnar with Two Premium Alaya Stays Properties, Five More Planned
MUNNAR: Premium hospitality company ELIVAAS has entered the Munnar market with the launch of two new properties — Jai Hill and Kavyath Valley — under its Alaya Stays brand, marking the company's latest expansion into Kerala's leading hill destination.
The two properties represent the first phase of ELIVAAS's planned expansion in Munnar. The company has announced plans to add five more properties in the destination under its ELIVAAS Signature and Alaya Stays brands.
The expansion is aimed at meeting growing demand for professionally managed private accommodation, particularly among families, groups and leisure travellers seeking more space and privacy than conventional hotel accommodation.
Jai Hill offers mountain-view cottage experience
Jai Hill is a four-room cottage designed around views of the Munnar hills. The property features four ensuite bedrooms, spacious living and dining areas, a commercial kitchen, landscaped gardens and an outdoor dining area.
The property is positioned for family holidays, reunions with friends and small group getaways where guests can stay together in a private setting while enjoying Munnar's mountain landscape. ELIVAAS describes it as a mountain-view cottage designed for group and family stays.
Kavyath Valley features private pool and four bedrooms
The second property, Kavyath Valley, is a four-bedroom private villa designed for families and groups. According to ELIVAAS, the property includes four ensuite bedrooms, a private swimming pool, a private gym, a fully equipped kitchen and landscaped surroundings.
The villa is positioned for larger family holidays, group trips, corporate getaways and other occasions where guests prefer a private villa environment.
Five more properties in the pipeline
ELIVAAS said the two new properties are only the beginning of its Munnar expansion, with five additional properties planned under its Alaya Stays and ELIVAAS Signature brands. The company is building a portfolio of professionally managed holiday homes and villas across leisure destinations in India.
According to ELIVAAS, Munnar was selected because of its established domestic and international tourism market. Kerala Tourism's 2025 statistics recorded 3,018,598 domestic tourist visits to Munnar, the highest among destinations in the State, along with 67,744 foreign tourist visits.
Ritwik Khare, Founder and CEO of ELIVAAS, said the company's entry into Munnar was an important step in its regional expansion strategy. He noted the potential for professionally managed private stays among families, groups and leisure travellers.
The entry of ELIVAAS adds another national hospitality brand to Munnar's expanding accommodation sector, particularly in the growing segment of private villas, holiday homes and experience-led stays.
With two properties already launched and five more planned, the company's expansion is expected to broaden the range of professionally managed premium accommodation available to visitors to Munnar.
