Day 1

Cochin - Munnar

The Ascent to the High Ranges (Cochin to Munnar)
Your journey begins at the Cochin International Airport or Railway Station, the gateway to Kerala's natural wonders.
As you leave the bustling coastal plains of Ernakulam, the landscape transforms into a canvas of rolling hills and dense tropical forests.
The drive to Munnar (approximately 4 hours) is an attraction in itself.
You will stop at the magnificent Cheeyappara Waterfalls, which cascades down in seven steps, offering a spectacular photo opportunity.
Nearby, the Valara Waterfalls provide a lush backdrop of thick greenery
. As the altitude rises, you will feel the temperature drop, signaling your arrival in the tea capital of India.
After checking into your hotel, spend the evening breathing in the crisp mountain air.

Day 2

Munnar

The Emerald Valleys of Munnar - Munnar is not just a destination; it is a feeling.
After a hearty breakfast, your full-day sightseeing tour begins with a visit to Eravikulam National Park (Rajamalai).
This sanctuary is the natural habitat of the endangered Nilgiri Tahr.
Walking along the misty trails here offers a panoramic view of the Anamudi peak.
Next, we visit the Mattupetty Dam, where the still waters reflect the surrounding hills.
You can enjoy a speed boat ride here or head to Echo Point, a natural phenomenon where your voice resonates across the valley.
For a touch of romance, we include a visit to Kundala Lake, where you can experience a Shikara-style boat ride.
The day concludes at Top Station, situated on the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border, offering a "top of the world" view of the clouds floating beneath you.

Day 3

Thekkady

Into the Wild (Munnar to Thekkady)
After breakfast, we head south toward Thekkady, the spice hub of Kerala.
The 3-hour drive takes you through spice plantations of cardamom, pepper, and cinnamon.
Upon arrival and check-in, the highlight of the day awaits: a boat cruise on Periyar Lake.
As you sail through the heart of the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, keep your binoculars ready.
It is common to see herds of wild elephants, sambar deer, and various species of migratory birds gathering at the water’s edge.
In the evening, you can opt for a traditional Kathakali performance or an Kalaripayattu (martial arts) show to witness Kerala's rich heritage firsthand.

Day 4

Thekkady

The Houseboat Experience (Thekkady to Alleppey)
Today, we transition from the mountains to the plains of Alleppey, famously known as the "Venice of the East."
By noon, you will board a traditional Kettuvallam (Houseboat). - This is the quintessential Kerala experience.
Your floating home will navigate the narrow canals and vast expanses of the Vembanad Lake.
From the deck, you can observe the unique "Backwater Life"—villagers fishing, children walking to school along the banks, and endless stretches of paddy fields.
Enjoy authentic Kerala cuisine, including "Karimeen Pollichathu" (Pearl Spot fish), cooked by your private on-board chef.

Day 5

Kumarakom

The Serenity of Kumarakom
After a relaxing breakfast on the houseboat, we disembark at Alleppey and proceed to Kumarakom.
This cluster of little islands on the Vembanad Lake is a sanctuary for those seeking peace.
Visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, a favourite haunt of migratory birds like the Siberian Stork and Egrets.
The rest of the day is yours to explore the local village life.
You can try your hand at fishing, take a sunset cruise, or simply indulge in a rejuvenating Ayurveda massage at the resort.
Kumarakom offers a slower pace of life that perfectly caps off your adventurous week.

Day 6

Cochin Departure

Farewell to God’s Own Country
On your final day, enjoy a leisurely breakfast overlooking the lake.
Depending on your flight or train schedule, we will transfer you back to Cochin.
If time permits, you can explore the Jew Town in Fort Kochi or do some last-minute shopping for spices and handicrafts at the local markets.
Your driver will ensure you reach the airport or station with ample time for your departure, carrying home a heart full of memories.
