Kerala Tourism has launched a major domestic marketing initiative for 2026–27, organising a series of Domestic Partnership Meets across key cities in India to strengthen the state's presence in important source markets and create direct business opportunities for Kerala's tourism industry.
The first phase of the Domestic Partnership Meets begins on September 8, 2026, in Ahmedabad, followed by a programme in Vadodara on September 10. The marketing initiative will continue in major cities including Mumbai, Pune, New Delhi, Jaipur, Surat and Nagpur between October and November.
According to the official programme announced by the Department of Tourism, Government of Kerala, the Partnership Meets are part of Kerala Tourism's domestic marketing strategy and are designed to bring Kerala's tourism stakeholders into direct contact with travel trade partners in major Indian markets.
The programme provides participation opportunities for a wide range of tourism businesses, including Kerala Tourism-accredited tour operators, approved serviced villas and homestays, Ayurveda centres, adventure service providers, licensed houseboat operators, hotels and resorts in Kerala.
The initiative is particularly significant for Kerala's tourism industry as domestic travellers continue to form an important segment of the state's visitor market. By taking tourism businesses directly to major source cities, Kerala Tourism is expected to create new opportunities for business networking, partnerships and travel promotion.
Each city is expected to have around 39 to 47 table spaces, allowing tourism stakeholders to interact directly with potential business partners. The programme also provides a platform for accommodation providers and tourism entrepreneurs to showcase Kerala's diverse tourism experiences, ranging from beaches and backwaters to hill stations, wildlife, Ayurveda, adventure tourism and cultural experiences.
The first two Partnership Meets in Ahmedabad and Vadodara mark the beginning of the new promotional campaign, with subsequent events scheduled across western, northern and central Indian markets.
With Kerala preparing for the upcoming tourism season, the Domestic Partnership Meets are expected to strengthen business connections and improve the visibility of Kerala's tourism products among travel professionals across India.
The initiative reflects Kerala Tourism's continued focus on expanding its domestic market presence while creating wider opportunities for hotels, resorts, homestays, tour operators and other tourism service providers to promote their products and services.
Kerala Tourism's domestic marketing campaign is expected to give a fresh boost to travel trade partnerships and reinforce Kerala's position as one of India's leading destinations for leisure, wellness, nature and experience-based tourism.
